April 2025

Each year according to your locals Bylaws your union gives out scholarships to every Delta Secondary School. Each scholarship goes to a student that is graduating from a Delta Secondary School whose parent or grandparent is an active CUPE 1091 member.

This year we have 7 x $500 scholarship to each of the 7 Delta school district secondary schools. We have 1 x $1000 Emmy Bennett Scholarship that goes to a student at South Delta Secondary.

All scholarships are chosen by the Schools Scholarship Committee at each individual Secondary School. If your child is graduating from a Delta Secondary School this year please have them go to the Career Advisor at their school and request information and an application.

We also have Out of District Scholarships for members whose child goes to a school outside of Delta. The information for these Out of District scholarships and how to apply will be sent to members in June.

Please direct any questions to the Local office at 604-940-8596.
